DJ Ron Hamelin burst onto Montréal’s hot dance scene in 2012 with his first big gig at the premier of the Beat the Coq party. Word quickly spread about Ron’s thumping underground techno/house sounds. Since that time, Ron has performed gigs at Black & Blue Festival, Montréal Fetish Weekend, The Underground, Montréal Pride’s Kink Kocktail, Kink Hommes, Jock Room, Papa Party, Black Kocktail, Macho Fuckers, The Men Event, Renegade weekend, Pig Party, Macho Party, Bear Weekend @ La Fierté Camping, Toronto World Pride, as well as gigs in the United States (Man-UPP San Diego, Provincetown, Xion Atlanta, Sinners Ball, Ogunquit; Hudson Pride; Harness Albany; Men’s Night Out; and Albany Bound Leather Weekend).
In addition, he’s an owner of Montreal’s largest and hottest new club called PLAY. In just four years, Ron has become a well-known techno/house DJ in Montréal’s gay village. He has also created a men-only dance party called Testostérone™ in Montréal, which is traveling to other cities in Canada and in the US that infuses rhythmic underground techno/house beats to create a sexy vibe for men. In addition, he has produced numerous house and techno tracks, the latest of which are on Beatport: Into the Night (EP), Get Out Of This House (EP), No Longer Your Queen, Crunch, and What Is Techno. Ron typically has people dancing hard and furious until after the lights come on.
